Data Analysis - Danantara Media Monitoring

In recent weeks, news emerged related to Danantara, Indonesia wealth fund. Lack of analysis towards these news intrigued me to dive deeper, to better understand how media frames their narration about Danantara. Hence, I attempt to make a sentiment analysis towards Danatara-related news on its launching day, 24 February 2025. I am limiting my observation to the two most widely accessed online media in Indonesia, Detik.com and Kompas.com (Katadata, 2024).

Pada 1991, jurusan yang cukup popular di Fakultas Sosial dan Politik UGM (Fisipol UGM) menurutnya hanyalah Hubungan Internasional dan Politik Pemerintahan.

Alih-alih ikut arus, dia justru memilih jurusan Ilmu Komunikasi.

Mbak Jajan, Penjaga Dapur Aktivis Bulaksumur

Bagi para aktivis mahasiswa yang berkantor di komplek perumahan dosen di Jl. Kembang Merak, Bulaksumur nomor B21, tentunya sudah tidak asing dengan nama Mbak Jajan.

Mereka yang tergabung dalam UKM BPPM Balairung dan Bulaksumur Pos tak perlu bingung di kala lapar. Senyum ramah Mbak Jajan selalu menyambut mereka yang menghampiri lapak seluas 2×1 meter di halaman rumah itu.
